Leadership Training: The Rites of Passage Framework Level 1

with Dr Arne Rubinstein (AUS)

The training is held over three days and is designed for anyone who wants to learn about Rites of Passage and begin their journey to develop and facilitate truly transformational programs. We believe that a Rite of Passage is a necessary part of a person’s development and our aim is to create masterful transformational facilitators that will help guide people and groups towards their best.

Programm

The training explains the model and methodology of the Rites of Passage Framework and the theory behind transformation, it supports you in adopting the mindset and confidence required to inspire and guide others as they transition from one stage of life to the next.

The Programm will be held in English.

For whom

This training is open for anyone interested in rites of passages, for your own wellbeing or for helping others. The frame can be used with boys/men and girls/women or for rites of passages in general.

Our Leadership Training is commonly attended by teachers, outdoor educators, mentors, coaches, social workers, psychologists and parents and is run by Dr Arne Rubinstein, the Founder and CEO of The Rites of Passage Institute, and an expert on Rites of Passage and adolescent development. With over 25 years experience, over 200,000 people have experienced our programs in 15 countries around the world.

Our aim is for participants to:

Learn the elements of a Rite of Passage
Experience the elements of a Rite of Passage
Learn about liminal space in transformational work
Become more aware of where they could use a Rite of Passage beneficially in their work environment and have some time to begin designing them
Connect and network with other participants personally and professionally
Feel supported in their work and missions

Location

We’ll spend most of the time outside in nature. The training will take place on a beautiful spot in Flanders, in the midst of 80 ha forest.We’ll work in and with nature.

Date and cost

When: 2 September ’22, 17u till 4 september ’22 , 15u

Cost: € 650     early bird till July 1th €550 when signed up and paid.

Prices are taxes included. Invoice is available.

These costs include the full training program, all training materials, accommodation in nature (possible to camp in your own tent, or sleeping in shared rooms of 4 p. or in sleeping rooms 30 p.), delicious healthy meals and an experience that you will never forget.

Dr. Arne Rubinstein

Founder & CEO, The Rites of Passage Institute.

Dr. Arne Rubinstein is an internationally recognised expert on Rites of Passage and adolescent development. He has been running Rite of Passage programs for teenagers and delivering cutting edge leadership training in Australia and internationally for over 20 years. His camps, leadership trainings and seminars have been attended by over 150,000 people in more than 10 countries and are now a part of over 50 schools around Australia.

He is a medical doctor and specialised first in Family Medicine and then spent 15 years in Emergency Medicine until he sold his practice to work full time creating Rites of Passage for youth.

In August 2018 he supported the Butchulla Aboriginal People in Queensland to create the first Butchulla Rite of Passage for Butchulla boys in over 150 years.  In September 2018 he ran Rites of Passage Leadership Trainings in Holland and Europe and was the lead Facilitator at the European Men’s Gathering with over 22 countries represented.

Dr Rubinstein is the author of the best-seller The Making of Men and has won multiple awards for his work including being nominated in 2008 for Australian of the Year for his groundbreaking work with youth, providing much-needed answers and tools to support a generation of young men and women be happy and motivated about life.

His spectacular bush property in Byron Bay, New South Wales, has been transformed into a workshop and leadership training facility where people come from around the world to participate in programs and camps.
